We were really excited to get offered the opportunity to build one of the first legitimate digital video download sites. A site that would allow customers to burn and watch films on various devices like your PC or PlayStation 3 — legally.

Film Fresh came to us to build an e-commerce platform which would focus on discovery and exploration. A film store for film lovers. With Sideshow handling all the IA, UX, UI design and development we were able to launch the project in record time and on budget. The site allows its customers to really explore a range of films using various mechanisms, tags, cast names, etc...

Build on the Drupal CMS platform it allows users to discover, sample and buy films as digital downloads or DVDs. The site received a tremendous amount of press coverage on launch from the likes of The Hollywood Reporter, Mashable, TechCrunch, and the LA Times.
